Stag Barbers

Advertising and Promotional Photography for Edinburgh-Based Stag Barbers

The Brief

Stag Barbers in Edinburgh launched “Undies Sunday,” one of their first charitable events, with tremendous success. Customers paid what they wanted for haircuts, provided they wore only their boxer shorts. This quirky twist raised over £1600 for Prostate Cancer UK and drew quite the crowd to the shop. Our Task Capture engaging photography to promote the event. And what a blast it was!

The Outcome

We spent a few lively hours in the Reddishpink studio photographing the Stag team having a laugh in their boxer shorts, creating a series of edgy, playful images. We took it a step further by producing an animated GIF for use on Facebook and Stag’s other social media channels.

The campaign was a smashing success, garnering over 100,000 views and helping cement Stag Barbers as a well-renowned Edinburgh brand and raise some valuable money for Prostate Cancer research. When we asked Stag’s MD Murray what he thought of the images he simply said “They’re Pants!”. Thankfully he then said he thinks they are amazing!
